Arsenal and Tottenham compete to sign Chelsea veteran with little funds available

Things may not be quite so normal during this coming transfer window, we could see significantly less spending made by clubs due to the economical crash caused by the global coronavirus pandemic.

Clubs may wish to be a little wiser on who they sign, and it is unlikely that many of them will be in a position to go out spending millions after millions.

Chelsea seem in a fairly good position, but their London rivals Tottenham and Arsenal are will not be able to spend any money this summer unless they sell players, according to The Telegraph.

As a result of this, both clubs are competing to sign Chelsea’s veteran winger Willian, when he becomes a free agent at the end of the season.

It looks highly unlikely that Willian leaves Chelsea and will not sign a new extension at the club, meaning the 31-year old could soon be making the short exit across London to one of The Blues closest rivals.
