AS Roma are the latest club to show an interest in out of contract winger Pedro.
The Chelsea man has racked up a career of almost unparalleled glory at Barcelona and now here, and as a top pro it’s no surprise to hear that teams are interested despite his advancing years.
He’s still shown himself to be a threat on multiple times this season, but given we look set to be moving on with the arrival of Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech, it seems we will be moving on and become younger in those areas, and Pedro will become a victim of that shift.
He, along with Willian, who also looks set to leave this summer, have given sterling service on the flanks for us for many years, and their quality and experience will be greatly missed.
Of course this delayed final stage of the season confuses everything, but as it stands it looks pretty clear that our strategy this summer is to clear out the over 30s attackers.
