Lots of scenarios, but Chelsea ‘remain fully committed’ to signing Hakim Ziyech

The current footballing seasons across the world are well up in the air, with no realistic date when they will recommence as yet.

Of course there are different plans and discussions going on right now, with the Premier League still hoping to finish the current season behind closed doors by August.

This then creates a problem for players at the end of their contracts in June, and whether they can be extended. But also players who have agreed to join a new club in the same month, or returning loanees.

Chelsea have an agreement to sign Hakim Ziyech from Ajax at the end of the season, which could now be pushed back, if even finished at all.

The Telegraph have published a very ‘what if’ article posing many different scenarios and alleged doubts over when this deal can go through.

It of course all depends on the how and when the virus starts calming down, and individual leagues plans. But the main thing is, ‘Chelsea remain fully committed to signing Ziyech and, fortunately, have an excellent working relationship with Ajax’ written nearer the end of this article.
