Chelsea ready to sell N’Golo Kante at right price according to exclusive report

Chelsea are ready to sell midfielder N’Golo Kante – but only at the right price, according to an exclusive on 90min.com.

The footie gossip site reports that the Blues have accepted that they may have seen the best days of the France midfielder, and would be willing to let him go “if Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain formalise their interest and offer the right price.”

Well, that’s pretty non-specific. Sure, if PSG offer €200m, Chelsea would probably accept. But then again that would have been the case if the French side had offered last summer, or the summer before, or the summer before that.

So while we don’t believe this exclusive is real for a second, the fact that someone has come up with it shows that what looked an impossible move is becoming considered feasible.

There is certainly a sense among Chelsea fans, at least, that Kante is struggling to recapture his top form. There would be fewer complaints than ever before if he was sold now.

But how can anyone be willing him to go when we’ve seen him play 10/10 games as recently as last Autumn? Football fans are notoriously fickle, but this is just ridiculous.
