Chelsea make charity partnership for important cause in face of pandemic

It is very refreshing to see many high profile celebrities, sports stars and others take a stand against the global coronavirus pandemic.

Many have helped out in various ways, whether through donation or other types of support, as the world stands together against the horrific situation.

Chelsea have already helped out in various ways, and have now announced their latest charitable partnership in the face of COVID-19.

They will partner with charity Refuge to raise money to support women and children experiencing domestic abuse during the coronavirus crisis, as reported by The Daily Mail.

Chelsea players from the men’s and the women’s squads have taken part in a digital campaign and Chelsea will match all donations over the next six weeks.

Reports have suggested the Covid-19 situation has led to increases in domestic abuse incidents due to the periods of isolation and lock down, so this is a massively important charity.
