Billy Gilmour gets FIFA upgrade after star showings

Footballers won’t have much to do for the next couple of months it seems, and their FIFA games are certainly going to earn their keep in their Playstations.

There’s no football on to allow tweaks to players stats according to form, so Billy Gilmour must be delighted that he shone so bright in the last two games Chelsea played, earning two man of the match awards and getting a monster FIFA ratings boost in the process, as part of the last batch of changes before everything was put on hold.

Football.London note that his overall score went from 64 to 66, not massive, but he saw improvements individually in his defensive awareness, his standing tackle, his interceptions, reaction and short passing.

That all reflects very well the extremely solid all round showings he put in against Liverpool and Everton.

A few more solid games and we expect to see that overall score rise quickly in the 70s – the question is when he will next get a chance to be out on the pitch.
