Barcelona will consider another loan for unsellable transfer flop

Chelsea’s links with Philippe Coutinho are just going on and on it seems, and there are some papers that are going to live off the scraps of it until football is back underway.

Catalan tabloid Sport, as translated by SportWitness, are clearly going to push this one all the way, and they today have some new details on a possible deal.

Coutinho was so expensive for Barca, and is on such big wages, that he’s proving impossible to sell. This meant he was on loan to Bayern Munich last season, and apparently the La Liga side are ready to consider similar deals this season.

As well they might – if they couldn’t find a buyer last season at a suitable price, they’re unlikely to find one now, with global markets trashed and another poor season under PC7’s belt.

Perhaps a loan move to Chelsea, with an option to buy, could work out for everyone?
