Willian could be set for controversial Arsenal move unless Chelsea get into gear

Willian scored a superb goal yesterday as Chelsea beat Everton 4-0, and the Brazilian showed once again what a positive player he can be.

With the team seriously struggling with injuries, Willian – along with his senior colleagues Olivier Giroud and Pedro – were called into the team to try and get the job done against the Toffees.

Willian scored and assisted, playing a key role for the Blues. But despite all that, it seems this season might be his last at the club.

Reports in Football.London today claim that, with his contract running out this summer, he will not be offered the 3 year deal that he wants.

Instead, it sounds like a move to Arsenal is on the cards. The Brazilian wants to stay in London, and to do that he will have to persuade one of the other clubs based in the city to give him the deal he wants.

We’ve heard the Spurs links already, now comes the notion of him going to the Gunners.

It’s not a pretty thought, but if the guys upstairs at Chelsea don’t want to give him a new contract, you can’t really blame him.
