Chelsea have added Willian to a quite massive injury list which already saw Mateo Kovacic added to it’s ranks in the first half.
The winger came off to be replaced by Jorginho just now after going down in a heap, and while it wasn’t clear how bad the problem was, it surely makes him a doubt for this weekend now.
With Callum Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic both seemingly stripped from our options in the wide areas, it will be fascinating to see what manager Frank Lampard does when we take on Everton this weekend.
Pedro will likely be the only orthodox winger available – could a return to the back 3 be on the cards just because there’s so little to choose from on the wings and in central midfield.
We will have to wait until Sunday to find out – the manager’s press conference on Friday will once again be interesting, with an ever-growing injury list likely to be top of the agenda as always.
