Chelsea’s injury problems are mounting up right now, reaching unprecedented levels as we come through this busy part of the season.
There have been whispers online that Lampard’s training methods may be contributing to the issues, and he was finally posed a question to that effect in his press conference today.
Of course he denies it, and the idea that the medical department at the club would allow him to do any such thing is pretty far-fetched. Given the thin squad he has to begin with, it’s unclear what realistic alternatives he actually had in most cases.
