Tomori has been back to Nigeria twice and has Super Eagles star’s shirt

One of Chelsea’s breakout stars this season has been Fikayo Tomori.

The defender looked like he might be going on loan for a season, but instead stuck around and earned a regular spot in the team for much of the season.

He had some absolutely brilliant games and earned an England callup.

That meant deciding between the Three Lions and Nigeria, and in an interview on the club’s official website, Tomori revealed that he had been back to the country of his parents birth twice.

“I went to America and Canada a lot because we had friends and family there. We went to Nigeria when I was really young and then again when I was about 10 or 11.”

He also revealed he has his Alex Iwobi’s shirt, which he wears from time to time. Apparently he wears his mates’ old shits often. It’s funny image to think of him wearing a Jarrod Bowen Hull shirt while making tea in the morning, but there you go.

If he keeps playing well and earns more England caps, he could seriously expand his collection with some international superstars in the next few years.
