Predicted XI: Billy Gilmour to get his first Premier League start against Everton

  1. Chelsea got a confidence boosting win over Liverpool on Tuesday night, but it will all be for naught if they can’t get three points against Everton tomorrow.

Frank Lampard has some difficult decisions to make when it comes to picking the team – not only because of the injuries he has in the squad, but also because of the desire to keep continuity from the success in mid-week.

That will likely mean that Kepa gets to keep his place in goal, with Cesar Azpilicueta certain to start in defence, possibly at left back of a four. Reece James can then play on the right, with Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger looking likely to play in the middle.

Jorginho is suspended, so expect to see Mason Mount (assuming Mateo Kovacic is out) play with Ross Barkley and maybe even Billy Gilmour’s first Premier League start after his superb game on Tuesday.

Up front, options are limited, meaning Olivier Giroud and Willian are all but guaranteed starts, with Pedro likely to complete the lineup.
