Juan Musso would be a “big investment” for Chelsea says agent

Chelsea are going to be linked with all manner of goalkeepers now that Kepa Arrizabalaga’s future is uncertain, and recently the whispers have turned towards Juan Musso of Udinese.

Inside Football have quotes from his agent, who claims that his client won’t come cheap – although anyone will look cheap compared to the sum we paid for Kepa.

Just 25, Musso has admirers all over Serie A as he continues to dominate between the sticks for the team from Udine.

His agent cited the cost of Kepa, Gigi Donnarumma’s alleged asking price and Thibaut Courtois’ value when saying his man “would surely be a big investment for the club that decides to sign him from Udinese.”

Chelsea probably aren’t willing to give up on Kepa just yet, but they may feel that signing some else for decent money would be hasty. Then again Lampard looks to have made his choice during the season – will he ever really have faith in the Spaniard again?

We can’t just kick the can of this massive decision down the road further.
