Italian sources are again today pushing the Gigi Donnarumma to Chelsea links.
The goalkeeper has been racking up the games for AC Milan since breaking into the team as a teenager, but now his contract is starting to run down and an exit is looking increasingly likely.
CalcioMercato quote Tuttosport’s paper in saying that Frank Lampard is done with Kepa, and has no faith in the Spaniard as his number one in the future.
That puts Chelsea in the market for a new keeper, and Donnurumma could well be that man. It’s uncertain how long football will be even suspended for, so by the time we’re ready to sign him, he could be very close to the end of his contract.
A deal could be done then a lot easier then, and so the longer things are suspended the more likely we think this move could be. Kepa may not get many more chances to win back Frank Lampard’s faith.
