Chelsea reportedly have a cunning plan to buy a Scottish club

Last week it was announced strict rules are coming in regarding restrictions on how many young players a club can send out on loan at the same period.

Thus causing a headache for clubs like Chelsea who regularly send out a large loan army.

But Chelsea have already got a plan in place to overcome this issue, according to one of the more reliable The Sun writers Alan Nixon.

They want to buy a club in the Scottish Premiership or Championship and use it as a feeder club as such for the first team, somewhere they can send their promising young players to go and play regular men’s football, as well as allowing local talent to come up through the ranks at the club they buy.

The report says that it will be run by Chelsea’s own coaching teams and staff.

It’s a great idea to overcome the new ruling if it turns out to be true.
