Chelsea continue to ‘push through’ contract talks with top goalscorer despite isolation

The Global outbreak of the Coronavirus is disrupting people worldwide, and has shut down Sports all together.

The situation has been classed as a pandemic, and the fall out as a result is certainly worthy of that name.

We have no idea when there will be any football being played again, and with the transfer window coming up, that is also expected to slow down.

However, Chelsea still have business to do and will carry on regardless. They have a number of contractual situations to sort out, one of which with their top goalscorer Tammy Abraham.

Goal report that despite the pandemic, Chelsea will push through with negotiations with Abraham and hope to get him signed up to an extended deal.

Talks had stalled due to Abraham reportedly wanting to wait to see who the club signs in the summer, but it now seems that Chelsea are keen to get negotiations sorted out sooner than that.
