Ok, that’s enough Champions League negativity for now. It’s a shame we can’t just skip the second leg, but entirely, but at least we can move on to more positive thoughts now.
Rio Ferdinand went to visit Frank Lampard and his Chelsea team in training ahead of the match last night, and the former England defender was very impressed by what he saw.
It didn’t end up helping against the German champions, but it’s still fascinating to see what Frank is teaching the players behind the scenes. It certainly restores a lot of faith after a bad bad night.
