Poor Frank Lampard must feel like he’s having the same press conference every week.
It was the same old story this time around, with the manager asked about his feelings about the game.
“We should win the game,” he commented, and why couldn’t they?
“We need more goals.” – it’s as simple as that for Frank. As he goes on to say, it’s all very well having your left back pop up with goals for you, but the attacking players are the ones in the team to do that, and they need to contribute or the team doesn’t function.
You can hear it in his voice. He just wants this side to put away some of their chances and make our lives all so much easier.
