Dion Dublin was on Premier League productions’ highlights show this week, and one of the topics they covered was Frank Lampard’s decision to drop Kepa.
Mostly they were onside with the manager’s call, but Dion Dublin pointed out one flaw in the strategy.
Dublin’s take is that the problem with switching the goalkeeper – as well as the central defenders as Lampard has done constantly recently – is that it ruins their understanding and prevents them building up a relationship. He may just have a point, given how we’re playing at the moment.
