Top Premier League goalscorer gives Tammy Abraham detailed advice

Tammy Abraham is playing a huge amount of games this season, more than anyone could possibly have suspected even just 12 months ago.

Thanks to the transfer ban he went from a potential squad option to a first choice striker for the club, and so far he’s taken the opportunity, bagging vital goals all year.

He’s going through a bit of a dry spell now, however, and Alan Shearer on Match of the Day at the weekend wasn’t afraid to give some advice.

Football.London had the full quotes from the legendary Premier League goal machine as he gave some really detailed advice to the forward on how to take his game to the next level:

“There was a very good run from him and Pedro didn’t play him in. You could then see the anger in him and he had his arms up in the air and so he should do because that ball should have gone into him,” the ex-Newcastle forward said.

“There was a moment when Reece James put the ball in the box and he had to be in control of that situation. He shouldn’t have let Jonny Evans get there first.

“He provided another good run and he needed to go across Soyuncu and not come back inside. He needed more confidence to go on his left foot.” the striker concluded.

We hope you were paying attention Tammy. You’ve done incredibly well to get this chance and make the most of it – if you can take things to the next level in the rest of this season your future is secure.
