Chelsea under-18s gave Chelsea fans a little bit of football to watch last night to help them get through the bland winter break without the first team featuring.
The Blues senior squad do not play until next Monday, but the youth side certainly helped make up for the lull last night.
They emphatically beat Wolves under-18s 7-0 in a game full of fluent attacking football leaving the young Wolves players pleased to finally end the match.
Many players stood out and had some excellent performances, but there is one player starting to get on the lips of Chelsea fans more than ever, Faustino Anjorin.
The midfielder again put in a fine display and scored a wonderful individual goal himself.
He has been in and around the first team on a few occasions this season, and he is already knocking hard on the door of Frank Lampard.
Some Chelsea fans believe they have the real deal here, and I’d be inclined to agree….
Tino Anjorin is the real deal. Unbelievable physique, match with superb technique. My prototype #8 in a double pivot or midfield three.

We shouldn't even see the likes of Tammy, Christensen, Ruben, Mount and Reece as youth players any more. They're regulars in the team now, so we should be looking at the next generation. CHO, Anjorin, Maatsen and Gilmour are all ready.

Tino Anjorin is head and shoulders above many of his opponents at academy level. There is a hype around him right now and there's every right to be. My piece on why Chelsea fans should be excited about what is to come from him after latest display. #cfc https://t.co/tDiODkZLjP

One of our most talented players. No question. If this boy can stay healthy, sheesh, he’s going to be a force.
