“Racism has won” – Rudiger angry at being scapegoated after jeers from Spurs fans

Chelsea centre back Antonio Rudiger faced Tottenham on Saturday for the first time since alleged racist chants being made towards him from their fans.

No witnesses came forward on this occasions and investigations were closed by Tottenham and the Police.

Rudiger was then being jeered on Saturday by Spurs fans who believe the racism claims have been made up by Rudiger…

Rightly so, this has angered the German international, and he has been speaking out about it with the strong words that ‘racism has won.’

As reported by The Daily Mirror, Rudiger said:

“Racism has won. The offenders can always come back to the stadium, which shows these people have won.

“They never get punished and in the end, I’m the scapegoat. I won’t give up, I’ll never stop raising my voice,” the German defender added.

“I’ll always raise my voice, but in relation to this, I’m alone.

“It’s a disaster. I became a father last Thursday and you start thinking society hasn’t come far enough in fighting racism so my kids will probably suffer as well.

“If nothing changes, if kids don’t get good education and parenting, we’ll lose.”

Great words from Rudiger and he is absolutely bang on. Claims that he has made it up is just ludicrous and says all you need to know about the issue that is only getting worse if anything.

At the very worst, the racist chants could have been mis-heard, and even that is unlikely. Why on earth would he want to make it up?
