N’Golo Kante limps off as Chelsea injury crisis reaches new heights

This is genuinely looking like a disaster now. Chelsea have lost another player to injury, and their crisis is getting more severe by the hours.

It was reported before the game that Callum Hudson-Odoi wouldn’t be playing. When the teams came out, we saw that Tammy Abraham and Emerson Palmieri weren’t available either.

Now, with just ten minutes on the clock, N’Golo Kante has limped off against Manchester United too. It’s a devastating blow for this injury weakened team, who now will have to make do with only two remaining subs, and without their most efficient ball winner in midfield.

Mason Mount has come on for him, and will do his best to get in the box and make something happen, but we know who we would rather have in the team for the rest of this game.

It will be a difficult task to win this now, and our prospects in the games to come are looking bleak.
