When putting together Chelsea’s list of summer transfer targets, Leicester City left back Ben Chilwell will make most the list of most sources.
It seems apparent that he is a favourite of Frank Lampard, and could well be the subject of an offer from The Blues at the end of the season.
However, he is not expected to come cheap, and Chelsea have a few other areas that they want to improve in – so with his price in mind, Chilwell might not become a priority.
Chelsea are looking at cheaper alternatives to Chilwell, according to The Daily Mail, who do agree though that the England man remains a real option for them.
One option is Bournemouth left back Diego Rico, who has been a regular for the club since joining from Leganes last season.
Rico has never been capped for Spain at any level, but he is having a good season for The Cherries despite the team playing poorly.
