Frank Lampard has been speaking to Sky Sports after the game, and he’s clearly massively frustrated by what he saw on the pitch tonight.
His side were beaten, and it wasn’t entirely down to them. VAR failed to send off Harry Maguire for kicking out at Michy Batshuayi in the first half.
Simon Johnson of the Athletic recorded his comments on the Sky cameras:
Lampard to Sky Sports: "Maguire should have been sent off, that's clear & that obviously changes the game. Azpilicueta gets shoved so the goal should stand. Giroud was a toenail offside & that one I understand.I don't get why they aren't looking at the monitor. It should be used.

The Chelsea boss was absolutely clear about what should have happened.
“Maguire should have been sent off. That’s clear,” he stated, and pretty much everyone from Twitter to the Sky studio agreed.
It would have changed the game entirely, and the fact that Maguire went on to score the crucial second goal was just an added kick in the teeth.
We’ve only got a few days to regroup now before we take on Tottenham. We’re creaking and risking falling apart. Lampard will have to swallow this cruel decision and try to move the team on from it.
