“I look at the table two or three times a day” – Frank Lampard’s top four obsession

Chelsea weren’t in action on Sunday, but many Blues fans were still glued to their TVs watching their top 4 rivals play.

Tottenham won at the death, bringing them to just 1 point from Frank Lampard’s Chelsea team in fourth. Arsenal won too, although they’re some way back.

Fans are glues to their league tables watching updates fly in, and according to an interview in The Sun, Frank Lampard is no different. “I look at the table two or three times a day” the Blues boss admitted, saying that he was also intending to use the proximity of the chasing pack as a dressing room motivational tool.

“You can become obsessed,” he warned. Tell us about it, Frank. With a tough draw in the Champions League, and the league title already wrapped up for Liverpool, it’s pretty much all that’s left to focus on for us fans.

We’re glad to hear we’re not the only ones, and that our manager is as concerned as we are with each result as they come.
