Lampard has full trust in two key youngsters starting against Bayern tomorrow

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has been speaking to the media ahead of his teams massive Champions League knockout stages game against Bayern Munich tomorrow.

The Blues are the hosts of the first leg game at Stamford Bridge and they will be looking to get a good result to take over to Germany with them in a couple of weeks time.

Bayern Munich will be looking to get revenge over the 2012 Champions League final match where Chelsea defeated the German side and capped off one of their finest days ever.

Lampard was playing for Chelsea that day and will remember it fondly. But tomorrow he will be able to do nothing physically on the pitch, he can only lead from the sidelines.

It will be a very tough match for this young Chelsea side, but Lampard has full trust in them and two key youngsters who have been a regular feature for him this season, Mason Mount and Reece James.

As reported by Football London, and Absolute Chelsea, Lampard said:

“I will speak to them [Youngsters] but I trust them. It changes when you get to the knockout stages but they played in the group stages.”
