No Chelsea fan could be disappointed with Tammy Abraham’s efforts this season.
He’s on a relatively dry run recently, but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s well ahead of schedule in terms of where people thought he’d be.
From a Championship striker to Chelsea’s number 9 in a year, he’s come on leaps and bounds.
He’s been a key player for us, and that’s summed up perfectly by this Tweet from the Premier League today, ahead of tonight’s crunch game with Manchester United:

As they point out, Tammy has given us the lead an unbelievable 8 times. It just goes to show how important his goals have been – he’s not the type to add a fourth goal in a thrashing, he’s scoring vital efforts that are winning points week in week out.
Let’s hope he can do the same again tonight against Manchester United. It would be his most important contribution to this season yet.
