Chelsea have been pretty awful at defending corners for a while now, and that’s made very clear when you consider the numbers.
Chelsea have faced just 80 corners this season, but conceded a stunning 6 goals from them. That’s a goal from 7.5% of corners, higher than anyone else in the top flight.

It’s not pretty reading, as you can see. There are various reasons for why – bad coaching, small players, zonal marking – but whatever the cause, it needs to change now.
