Giroud set for the nod over Abraham tonight says reliable Journalist

As the nerves firmly set in for tonight’s huge Champions League match between Chelsea and Bayern Munich, guessing games have began on what line up Frank Lampard will be going for.

After Saturday’s fine performance against Tottenham, many believe that Olivier Giroud deserves to start again this evening.

But Tammy Abraham did replace the France World Cup winner in the 71st minute at the weekend, marking his return to fitness, and he has been keeping both Giroud and Michy Batshuayi on the bench all season so far.

However, according to French Journalist Bile Ghazi of L’Equipe, Giroud is set to start the match tonight, getting the nod over Abraham.

Lampard’s 3-4-3 line up worked very well against Tottenham, especially for Giroud, who enjoyed having the fresh pace and intensity of Mason Mount and Ross Barkley playing close to him, so it will be interesting to see of Lampard goes with the same line up again tonight.
