Former Man U striker predicts result of massive Chelsea clash

It’s Chelsea against Manchester United in the Premier League tonight, with a whole lot riding on it.

The Blues are just about clinging on to fourth place, but Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham are now just one point behind, and Manchester United know that this is probably their final chance to catapult themselves back into the race.

The Daily Mirror have quotes from Dimitar Berbatov, the former Manchester United striker, who predicts a tight game:

“This is a massive game in the race for top four,” the Bulgarian said, rather stating the obvious.

“I honestly think that both teams are pretty even at the moment and both need to do better and become more consistent.”

He concludes that they will play out a 1-1 draw, which does sound like a sensible prediction.

Both sides need to win, but there will also be an air of caution on the part of Chelsea as the home team. Coming away with a point would be fine, but losing at home to such a close rival would be a real blow.

Do you think Berbatov’s prediction is spot on or can the Blues push ahead and pic up three points?
