Emerson agent coy on players future, decision in the summer, Inter and Juventus interested

Emerson Palmieri has had a very up and down Chelsea career with injuries and dipping in and out of form.

He has struggled to nail down regular football throughout his time at the club so far and just doesn’t seem to be doing enough to convince anyone that he is good enough to be the long term Chelsea left back.

This has drawn concerns over his future in London, with confirmed interest circling from both Inter and Juventus.

Right now Blues boss Frank Lampard is preferring to use right-footed Cesar Azpilicueta at left back ahead of Emerson, which says all you need to know in the lack of confidence that Lampard has in him right now.

A summer move looks quite likely in all reality, and the players agent is definitely not ruling that out as it stands.

As reported by WAGNH, his agent Luis Fernando Garcia had the following to say:

“We know very well about Juventus’ interest but also about Inter. So far there has been no talk of a transfer with Chelsea, nor has there been any official offer.

“I believe that until May there will be no official offers from the two clubs. In the summer we will decide what to do.”
