Chelsea ‘remain on the trail’ of Italian international goalkeeper

As the doubts remain over the future of Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, more names pop up as potential replacements.

It seems that there could be some big transfer moves at Stamford Bridge this season with players arriving and departing, and Kepa is being mentioned more than most as a possible departure.

There is a new name being linked with replacing him in London today in the shape of Italian international goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

According to Calcio Mercato, Chelsea ‘remain on the trail’ of the 20-year old Milan stopper, along with PSG, Real Madrid, Juventus and Manchester United.

Donnarumma has been a regular for Italy since a young age and feels like he has been around forever, which is a testament to his quality and what he has already achieved in the game so far.

I am sure that if Chelsea were to lose Kepa, then Donnarumma would be a great shout to replace him, whether it is realistic or not is another matter.
