Chelsea one of four Premier League clubs scouting Ligue 1 striker

Chelsea are still on the hunt for a new striker, with Olivier Giroud expected to leave in the summer, and Michy Batshuayi also looking unlikely to stay.

Frank Lampard wanted to bring someone in in the January transfer window, but the board failed to deliver.

However, they will be pursing targets now for the summer as they look to provide better competition for the clubs top goalscorer Tammy Abraham.

One player they are newly linked with is Serhou Guirassy from Amiens SC in the French Ligue 1.

The 23-year old already has keen interest from the Premier League in the shape of West Ham, and Brighton. But recently, Sky Sports claim that both Tottenham and Chelsea have had scouts watching him and both are interested in signing him this summer.

Guirassy is uncapped at senior international level, but he did feature regularly for France at youth level and was a goal scoring machine.
