Chelsea fan Hudson-Odoi on the ‘massive feeling’ of playing for the club he supports

Chelsea players are currently preparing to take on Manchester United this evening in the Monday Night Football under the lights.

The match itself has become huge for both sides, with United needing a win to stay in the race to top four, and Chelsea needing to take all three points in order to increase the gap from one point to four after Tottenham won late at Aston Villa yesterday.

There is a lot at stake and Blues fans will be watching with one eye open.

One fan in particular will be lucky enough to be out on the holy grail of the Stamford Bridge pitch representing the club that he supports.

Callum Hudson-Odoi will be looking to cause damage to the United back line this evening as he spearheads his side to victory, at least that’s what we hope!

And the man that has come through the ranks in the Chelsea youth setup since he was just a young boy, is also the featured cover star for tonight’s match day program.

As reported by Goal, Hudson-Odoi writes in the program:

“I’ve been a Chelsea fan since I joined and, trust me, when you play for the club you support, it’s a massive feeling.

“You just can’t believe it. All those years I was sitting in the stands and looking at players like Didier Drogba, Eden Hazard and Willian, because they are in the sort of positions that I play and I wanted to try and emulate them.

“So, when I got my chance and I was on the pitch with Hazard for the first time, it was such a great feeling.”
