As the dust settles from Chelsea’s Champions League thrashing at home to Bayern Munich on Tuesday evening, all the talk has been surrounding Frank Lampard’s squad just not being strong enough.
They were a class apart from the Bundesliga side this week, and it is scary to think what will happen in two weeks time when they have to do it all again in the German sides backyard.
As fans speculate which players are good enough to continue with Chelsea in the future, and which ones are nothing more than just average, The Sun reporter Duncan Wright is reporting his 8 players that he believes will be sold by Lampard in the summer.
There are a couple of surprise inclusions here, and also some dead certs in my opinion that are missing. But it will be interesting to see what happens regardless.
Kepa Arrizabalaga, Kurt Zouma, Emerson, Marcos Alonso, Jorginho, Ross Barkley, Willian and Pedro.
For a starters he hasn’t included Olivier Giroud, who’s contract is up this summer, and there are others who will surely be under question.
