Three Chelsea wingers battle for two starting spots as Lampard looks to best Burnley

After a break for the FA Cup, Chelsea will put out a very fresh first team to take on Burnley at home, and the eyes of the league will be on Frank Lampard’s team to see if they can shake off their home-form Blues.

Subsequent home games saw us lose to teams far below us in the table, and this weekend it’s imperative we break that habit. We’ve been lucky in seeing the teams around us dropping points, but these are still our home bankers, the games we’re relying on to propel us forward in the race for the Champions League.

We won’t have added any new signings by the time this game is played, so Frank Lampard will have to make a decision between Callum Hudson-Odoi, Christian Pulisic and Willian to fill the two slots as wingers outside Tammy Abraham.

We will learn a lot about what his thinking for the season is when he picks this lineup. Willian has been the perennial favourite, and it’s hard to see him missing out, while Hudson-Odoi scored and assisted in the FA Cup.

Pulisic’s good spell before Christmas faded away, and he must now be the outsider to start.
