“Something we have to look at” – Frank Lampard criticises under pressure player

Chelsea threw away an ideal chance to beat Arsenal at home last night as they failed to capitalise on an early red card for Gunners defender David Luiz.

Frank Lampard’s side were all over Arsenal but once again they failed to finish off chances and kill the game.

Arsenal only registered two attempts on goal all match, and both of those resulted in a goal.

Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has come under criticism once again for not doing more to stop the goals, even though they were both good finishes.

It just emphasises how much Kepa is under pressure this season after not really performing to the standards we saw from him when he first arrived, and his form has been noted by Lampard, who picked up more on his dwelling on the ball at his feet last night, rather than the inability to make saves.

Judging by these words, Kepa is going to have to massively improve his game otherwise we might see a pursuit of a new goalkeeper.
