These last few days in the transfer window could stump up a few surprises, as reports come in of a late move for one of Chelsea’s most decorative players.
Serie A side Roma have made enquiries to Chelsea over signing their former Spanish international winger Pedro, who’s contract is up in London this summer.
This is according to the reliable Sky Italia reporter Gianluca Di Marzio, who put the report up late last night.
Whether Chelsea would allow Pedro to leave this week or not, is another question. You’d assume that if they were to allow it, then they would really like a replacement to come in and keep the depth in the squad.
But the appeal of getting Pedro’s wages off the roster, and also asking for a small fee – could make them at least consider the offer this week.
Remember, Chelsea only come alive in the final couple of days of the window!
