Time is running out fast for Chelsea to sign a striker, which is what they still want to do, according to The Telegraph.
With just over 4 days remaining in the current transfer window, they will need to work fast to get any deals over the line now.
The report written partly by the reliable Matt Law, states that Chelsea are monitoring AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek as an alternative option to Edinson Cavani, who is keen on joining Atletico Madrid.
He does also state though, that Chelsea have not given up on signing Cavani this window.
The most surprising part though, is the striker who is the alleged third choice if these two pursuits fail. He believes that Chelsea are aware that Luka Jovic could be available on loan from Real Madrid this window, should they not be able to sign Cavani or Piatek.
Well, quite frankly, I agree entirely with these Chelsea fans below, who absolutely believe that Jovic should have and still should be the club’s priority target to bring in this window….
