Conor Gallagher reportedly won’t be joining a Premier League club this month

Chelsea recalled young prodigy Conor Gallagher from his loan club Charlton Athletic today, and he immediately joined the first team squad’s training session.

The 19-year old midfielder has been enjoying a very decent first season playing senior football, and he has gained many plaudits for his fine form and goal-scoring ability.

However, for reasons unknown at this stage, Gallagher has returned to Chelsea under The Blues instruction, and it looks like he will be heading straight back out on loan.

Many believed that the move might be in order to get him Premier League football. However, according to Football London, who were the first to report Gallagher’s return yesterday, he will NOT be joining a Premier League side this month.

They claim that it’s likely that Gallagher will head out on another Championship loan, with clubs towards the top of the table keen on taking him for the rest of the season.
