Confirmed: Chelsea goalkeeper heads out on another loan

Chelsea have officially confirmed another piece of business this transfer window in the shape of another outgoing.

Goalkeeper Jamal Blackman has joined League One side Bristol Rovers on loan for the remainder of the season, as confirmed by the Chelsea website.

Blackman has been at Chelsea since 2006 where he started within the youth ranks. Since then he has become a regular loan army member spending time at a number of clubs including Wycombe, Sheffield United, and most recently, over in Holland with Vitesse.

He has suffered a number of set backs through injuries during his career, and this is what stunted his spell in Holland this season.

Blackman is no youngster anymore either having turned 26 back in October last year. So this will probably very much be his last make or break move in terms of ever making it at the club he has been at since a very age.
