Chelsea fans could reasonably be starting to get disappointed with how this January window is going.
After a year out of the market, plenty of people were expecting us to return to action with a bang, perhaps a big move in the first week or so. Instead there’s been no moves made, and we don’t even seem close to any action.
Fans shouldn’t give up hope though. There are still whispers that the club are looking to do something big, with even the big man upstairs (Roman, not God) perhaps ready to stick his oar in and help us turn some heads.
On the “Transfer Window Podcast,” Duncan Castles claimed that Chelsea still want a winger, and that top target Jadon Sancho is still a possibility.

We don’t know what Castles is actually privy too. He must have some contacts somewhere, but we’re not sure he’s too well plugged in at Chelsea, where the word from the top is famously non-leaky.
He’s probably just saying all this to get us and excited, and… well, it’s worked.
