Chelsea and Inter £2 million out in agreeing deal for front man

Olivier Giroud has been joining Inter for the last three weeks, or at least that’s what it feels like.

Every day, there is a new report claiming that terms have been agreed, and the deal is close.

But Chelsea and Inter seem to be oh so close, yet oh so far in agreeing the final fee for the France World Cup winning striker.

The Blues want £6.5 million for the veteran, whilst Inter only want to pay £4.5 million, according to a report from The Daily Mail.

As they say, personal terms have been agreed between Giroud and Inter, but the stumbling block is just the fee.

I am sure that a happy medium will be met, with Chelsea known for squeezing every last penny out of a deal.

Giroud has played second and even third fiddle to Tammy Abraham and Michy Batshuayi at Chelsea this season and his contract at the club is up this summer.
