The France based football writer cited “Republicain Lorraine”, a regional newspaper which keeps all the local Alsatians up to date with the latest Metz based news.
Diallo is an impressive young talent, and while he’s not the established star many fans want, he could fit in nicely as a backup for Tammy Abraham, especially if our more senior strikers leave.
We’re not the only side linked with him, and it seems other teams in France and the Premier League are tracking him, but we can offer a lot of money, and a decent amount of minutes too if Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi leave.
If we want him, we will surely get him. For once we can offer decent minutes to a young player, and while he won’t be first choice, he could easily slot into a Champions League chasing team as second fiddle.
What’s not to like, from his perspective?
