Chelsea will be able to sign players in January, and on Match of the Day last night, following their analysis of what went wrong in our defeat to Bournemouth, Alan Shearer was asked where the Blues should be looking to strengthen.
Shearer claimed it’s both in replacing the goals of Eden Hazard, and the need for a stronger central defender, the the club needs to focus.
It’s hard to disagree with that, especially after yesterday, when we looked desperately in need of the magic sparkle that the Belgian so often used to push us beyond teams sitting deep and defending against us.
