Two players rated 2, three rated 3 – these Chelsea player ratings say it all

Chelsea fans, players and coaches will be waking up feeling very rough this morning.

Whilst some of the fans might be experiencing a slight hangover as a result of drowning their sorrows, the players and the coaches will be waking up feeling as if they have a hangover as a result of an absolutely terrible performance away at Everton.

The home side beat a timid and lacklustre Chelsea 3-1 and their was some hideous individual performances across the whole team.

The defence were once again non-existent and I am pretty sure if you blow through a straw at them, they would fall over, they were that timid.

Squawka are my go to for player ratings after the match, I always find them firm but fair and often agree.

Their ratings yesterday were absolutely bang on.

They gave our supposed captain Cesar Azpilicueta and Kurt Zouma a 2. Absolutely deserved, both were gutter yesterday.

They rated Andreas Christensen and Kepa Arrizabalaga a 3. Again, totally deserved, although they could both have easily got a 2 as well. Willian also got a 3, which is accurate.

The only decent rating was Mateo Kovacic who got an 8, which was deserved.

Reece James got a 6, being the only half decent defender we had yesterday.

N’Golo Kante wasn’t great and he rightly got a 5.

The remaining three Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount, and Christian Pulisic all got a 4, which is hard to argue with as well.

Day to forget, on we go.
