Kepa names the one Chelsea legend he would re-sign for the club

Chelsea have had their fair share of great players over the years. One of them – legendary centre back John Terry – is returning to the club tonight as assistant at Aston Villa.

But when asked which of the club’s greatest players he would re-sign, if given a time machine and the chance to bring back a hero of the club from their prime, current first choice goalie Kepa went with a different choice

You’ll have to go to the club’s official app to see the full interview, but they allowed this teaser question on the main site:

“It’s a good question but I think I’d make Didier Drogba my first signing if I was manager,” the Basque responded when he had the tricky teaser put to him.

“He’s a legend at Chelsea and was an amazing striker, always a big-game player,” he went on.

Chelsea did of course re-sign Drogba under Jose Mourinho, and he was part of the team that won yet another title in 2015. We certainly could have done with him on Saturday, when we looked utterly blunt up front against West Ham.
