Frank Lampard has claimed that he will enter the January transfer market ‘if a player improves the squad’.

The Blues heard from the Court of Arbitration for Sport today regarding their transfer ban appeal, and they were given the news that Lampard describes as ‘positive’, they have had the ban halved and are now able to sign players in January once again.

Chelsea supporters have already started compiling their own list of targets they want to see as the circus of the transfer market returns at Stamford Bridge.
Lampard has revealed that the club have already been working on some deals, and has admitted the club will now be ‘looking at the market going forward’.

Although he remained coy on any linked names, there is certainly a feel that players will be arriving in January regardless.

Lampard says that signing quality players when they are available ‘is what the big clubs do’ and it is expected of them.
