Tomorrow marks the start of the winter transfer window and although the weather isn’t warm outside, the rumours are heating up.
Chelsea are considering a move to sign Lyon striker Moussa Dembele in January, according to Sky Sports.
This is after this mornings claims that The Blues have made a cash plus Olivier Giroud offer to the French side for his services.
Chelsea have been linked to a host of strikers and attacking options already and Dembele is one that appears to be gathering some real pace now.
Sky claim that Frank Lampard see’s similarities to Chelsea legend Didier Drogba in Dembele’s style of play.
They also state that both Giroud and Michy Batshuayi are likely to leave Chelsea in January after their lack of first team minutes.
It’s certainly a situation that could become very busy over the next few weeks as Lampard looks to bring in some real competition for top goalscorer Tammy Abraham.
